Kasumba, a civil engineer and a member of our technical team in Uganda, recently came to China for a comprehensive training program concerning surface operations on oil & gas projects under Sinopec’s sponsorship.??
“Here in China, not only have I received guidance from my Chinese mentors, but also got the opportunities to learn from a highly skilled team of young engineers,” said Kasumba, adding that he would share the knowledge he acquired in China with colleagues in Uganda.??
Kasumba believes that, through the joint efforts between the Uganda team and Chinese counterparts, they will be able to deliver oil & gas infrastructure projects on international standards, driving local economic growth and improving the lives of Ugandans.??
