Today marks #World Health Day. Sinopec is translating its commitment into tangible actions to foster a healthier future. In #Ecuador, Maya, born with a cleft lip and palate, has been successfully treated and smiles happily thanks to the help of the Sonrisa Operation Foundation in cooperation with Sinopec. In #Cameroon, Sinopec supplied medical equipment to more than 70 hospitals across the country, which has significantly increased the survival rate of newborns and improved treatment for patients. 

H.E. Manaouda Malachie, Minister of Public Health of Cameroon, conveyed his appreciation to Sinopec, pointing out that Laquintinie Hospital had significantly improved its medical capabilities with Sinopec’s efforts, which is of great significance to the local community.

Today is Qingming. It is on the fifth of the 24 solar terms in Chinese lunar calendar and represents one of the most important traditional festivals in China. Qingming is also known as Tomb Sweeping Day, when folks honor their ancestors by sprucing up their graves and leaving offerings. A cool tradition during this festival is making and eating painted eggs, which represent new beginnings and auspicious outcomes. The Sinopec Marjan Increment Program team even joins in by painting boiled eggs to share their blessings.
