Congratulations on the establishment of the International CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage) Technology Innovation & Cooperation Organization (ICTO)! On July 11th, over 90 representatives from 12 countries gathered at the members assembly and the inauguration ceremony held in Beijing. ICTO, initiated by Sinopec under the guidance of China Association for Science and Technology, consists of 50 members including enterprises, industry organizations, research institutions, experts and academicians. The organization has initially established a CCUS collaboration network with global influence.
HOU Qijun, Chairman of Sinopec, stated that Sinopec would make effort to build an industry ecosystem based on mutual trust and cooperation for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, so as to promote the rapid development of the global CCUS industry.
